29th August 2015 Full Moon in Pisces: This is a mystical moon which transcends identity, allowing our thoughts and feelings to merge with vast divinity. In her we lose ourself to find our Self, the true one: the whole, unfettered, unbounded One. The same Self we all discover, refracted into countless sparks of light.

The Moon is full at 6:36 pm on 29th August, in 7th degree of Pisces. Conjunct Neptune and opposing Jupiter, this is a profoundly spiritual moon, calling us into other dimensions and encouraging deep contemplation of our metaphysical nature. She illuminates unseen forces of which we form a part, not separate from us to be called upon in times of need, but an intrinsic part of our existence which we can become at any time. We are our own guardian angels, our own sacred source. The divine is ourselves, not something we can only experience when conditions are right. This Moon challenges any notion that we are separate from the sacred field of being. Her illumination casts rainbows all around us, reflecting our inner light in all its shades. Preparing us for the eclipse season starting in a week’s time, she reminds us we are one with the divine even as we feel separate from it. No matter how hard we strive to be in its presence we are already there, for it is simply who we are.

Understanding this to be true is one thing, experiencing it is another, knowing ourselves as divine in the darkest and most challenging times of our lives is something else entirely! It can be incredibly hard to remember our true essence when the going gets tough. Which is why such a Moon is a gift, reminding us what matters, making real the experience of our divinity. She refuses to see what we do: you and me as separate beings, unexpected events as unwelcome, relationships as unsatisfactory. She sees only the divine in love with itself, seeking itself, entering into ever deeper communion with itself. She sees through our hopes and fears, troubles and triumphs, to that place where all things rest, already whole and true just as they are. She invites us to sit in her presence, knowing ourselves as sacred source no matter what.

This is a mystical moon which transcends identity, allowing our thoughts and feelings to merge with vast divinity. In her we lose ourself to find our Self, the true one: the whole, unfettered, unbounded One. The same Self we all discover, refracted into countless sparks of light. She weeps at our self-imposed isolation and erases the stain of separation with her tears, restoring all that is fractured by the dualistic perception of our earth-bound minds.

The alchemy of this Full Moon lies in embracing our essence beneath the ‘you and me’ we know so well. Providing direct experience of our divinity to sustain us through the coming weeks, she affirms that nothing can separate us from Source no matter how far removed we may feel. Knowing ourselves now as the mighty All That Is will both humble and elevate in equal measure. Immersed in the blessings of this lunar grace we return home to the place where only love is real and answer our own prayers in the name of the divine. The blessings of this moon allow the recollection of our infinite being and timeless presence to penetrate our every cell. In her arms we are secure. It is safe to forget good and bad, right and wrong, now and then, releasing it all in the moonlight to become the boundless and unending grace we have always been.
